- Senior Data Scientist - (002)
We are seeking a creative, versatile, and motivated data scientist to be part of our growing team. This team member will lead data science projects to develop exciting new algorithms for our product, as well as help productize those algorithms into our scalable analytics platform. This position reports to the VP of Engineering.
• Work with the CEO and CTO to design algorithms to infer key transportation patterns from various data sources
• Research and implement suitable strategies (e.g. regression models, neural networks, etc.) for solving data science problems.
• Find and build real-world data sets for training various models and doing quality checks.
• Productize data science algorithms within the StreetLight InSight Data platform, in collaboration with the Data Engineering team.
• Create visualizations and dashboards to help tell stories with data.

- Technical Support Engineer - (004)
Seeking a Technical Support Engineer to help our clients solve transportation problems using StreetLight InSight, our online platform. This team member will work closely with planners, modelers, and engineers, helping them put Big Data to work for transportation. In addition to providing comprehensive support and training, the Technical Support Engineer will play a key role in developing new materials and best practices that ensure our clients use StreetLight InSight to its maximum potential. This position reports to the Manager, QA and Support, and is based in Richmond, VA.
• Provide first-level and escalated technical support for users of the StreetLight InSight platform.
• Develop clear tutorials and training videos to show how StreetLight InSight can answer key transportation questions.

Education and Experience:
• Minimum four years of professional fundraising experience with progressively increasing responsibility, preferably at both national and local level.
